JunixBlog is updating

After months of not posting anything, I decided to update my blog again and planning to do it constantly now. The reason why I wasn’t able to update this, well there’s just too many to mention, but the main reason is that I kinda lost goal on this blog. My original goal, as I’ve stated in my first post, was just to have a blog, because I believe its essential for my career. I kinda have added some goals in this blog but I realized that I want to stick to my original goal and just let this one to be my personal blog.

If you’ve visited my site from the past, you’ll notice that I have changed the theme and removed some functions I’ve used in this website. I call this JunixBlog version 2! Actually I’m not yet finished in customizing this blog. I have other plans to include here in the future.

I’m not just going to change the theme, I’m actually going to change most of it! My current posts right now are centered in WordPress and Web Development topics, but now I’m going to add more personal stuff and blogging what I like to blog.

I’m not also gonna give effort in optimizing this blog with the search engines, because I don’t have a reason to do so. The goal of SEO, correct me if I’m wrong, is to gain targeted organic traffic and much more traffic that converts to action. Unlike others, I’m not really into gaining traffic and rank because they’ve used their so called “strategies” on their websites and gaining links from their own work. I want this blog to grow naturally with pure white hat techniques. I’m doing this because I’m not in a hurry gaining traffic as I have no use for it, than maybe study some data.

Doing SEO is also kinda hurting in the mind, because when you are thinking about it, your mind will be trapped in blogging on the specific keywords that your targeting for your website. That’s not really recommendable for people who are trying to create a personal blog. Personal blogs, must be personal or you should blog freely whatever it is you want to blog about, that’s what I believe in!

I’m still going to blog about WordPress and web development though. I love WordPress and I learning more about it, and when I learn something new about WordPress, I’ll blog it!
